AS my regular followers will know, I have a thing about townscapes.
This began as a moonlit urban scene. But as it progressed, the moon became the sun. One of the great things about art is that there are no rules. Great celestial events can happen at the touch of a brush - or, as in this case, felt-tipped pens.
Sunlit City is not one of my most memorable works, but it did allow me to experiment once more with intricate shapes and the interplay of colours.
It is quite different from the image I envisaged when I set out on this artistic adventure, but has sufficient merit to illustrate a new range of bookmarks.
Thanks for your interest.
