Multiple faces in blue

FACES fascinate me. That's not surprising. Anyone with an inclination for art tries to draw the human face at some stage in their career.

All the best have done it, from grand masters like Sir Joshua Reynolds, to arch-modernists like Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud.

Even David Hockney and L.S.Lowry have had a go.

I am no good at capturing likenesses, but I do appreciate the myriad shapes and colour options faces offer.

I particular like this one, even though I say so myself. It's called Assembled Faces.
