AFTER buying a box of crayons from Poundland, I decided to try one out on a sheet of scrap paper.
What emerged was this - a simple sketch of two people that reveals so much about what they think of each other.
The haughty, chinless wife and the diminutive, intimidated husband took shape before me within seconds.
As it said so much about their relationship, I immediately decided to convert it into a print.
On the basis that people are so often fashioned by their names, or are unwittingly given names that eventually match their personalities, I have called this picture Claud and Mildred, he the hen-pecked little chap who is eager to please, she the harridan who must be obeyed.
I like the way it says so much in so few lines.
