Writing for the fun of it

HAVING written for a living for fifty years, it's not easy to just stop doing it. That's why I hit the keyboard several days a week, even though I no longer have to.

There are no deadlines to meet, no printers to placate, no proprietors to answer to. It's just me and the blank page, in combat as usual. I love it.
