Artist in the Dock(s)
DOCKS have always been a fascinating source of inspiration for me. It's something to do with those crazy angles formed by the cranes.
Here is my latest study of the waterfront scene, called Moonlight Over Dockland. Once again, the idea was spawned as I sat on Flushing beach gazing over the harbour towards Falmouth Docks, where cranes stand starkly against the Pendennis headland.
I'm pleased to say that my seafront pictures are quite popular at art shows, especially Fireworks at The Tall Ships Regatta, one of my early paintings, and Gig Racing in Cornwall, which many people believe would work as a fabric design.
