Blooming marvellous, en it?

THERE I was, strolling down Bethnal Green Road in London's East End, when I saw a flower seller. He was practically buried by blooms.

When I returned home to Cornwall, I was compelled to commit an image to paper with my trusty acrylics and gel pens.

Thus, The Flower Seller of Bethnal Green, published here for the first time.

'Get your daffs - a pahn a bunch!' yelled the vendor.

Along the road was Kelly's Pie and Mash shop, famous for its eels and liquor.

Cockney traditions still exist, though you'll find most of the old East Enders out in Dagenham nowadays.
