Fishmonger has it covered!

READERS of a Cornish magazine have responded favourably to my cover painting of a Falmouth fishmonger. It must be something to do with his smile.

The picture was used to introduce a feature on local artists. So whether I like it or not, I'm now officially an 'artist', with front-page exposure in The Magazine, a community mag that circulates in and around Flushing and Mylor.

Whatever the picture's merits, it is striking - and that, after all, is what covers are supposed to be about.
