In Fashion - A Painting from Nowhere

A FEW days ago I read an article about the former TV personality Desmond Morris and his remarkable talent as a surrealist painter.
His work, with its echoes of Salvador Dali, is even more noteworthy when you consider that he can come up with a new picture every day.
Morris finds the act of painting so appealing and absorbing that he feels compelled to commit images to paper in an almost non-stop frenzy of creative activity. Now, he says, his work is becoming 'collectable' among discerning buyers.
I know the feeling. There are times when the images spring to mind so fast and furiously that I wonder if I'll ever get them all down. More often than not, I haven't a clue where the inspiration springs from.
So it was with Dolce and Gabbana Fashion Show, the unusual painting shown here. Suddenly, five skinny images sprang into my head and the picture took shape, almost of its own accord. I'm not sure what to make of it, but consider it worthy of your perusal.
It will probably make a good bookmark. Repeat, probably.
