Okay for a bookmark, I suppose

SOME paintings start off as one thing, and end up as something else.

This was going to be one of my stark line drawings with a scarlet yacht taking centre stage.

As the line drawing didn't work out very well, I improvised by introducing a two-colour theme, the aim being to stick rigidly to blue and gold.

Lacking the discipline to sustain such a theme, I fell back on producing an image much more conventional than I intended.

It's called Golden Port.

It will be okay for a bookmark, I guess.
