Crows in a Summery Field
OF all the prints I've produced over the last five years, Crows in a Wintry Field has emerged among the most popular. Several copies have been sold, with one buyer hailing it 'a modern classic' - a bit over the top, I feel, though the sentiment was balm to the ears of an old dauber and dabbler like me.
Anyway, now comes its companion print, Crows in a Summery Field, which is a brighter, less stark work in every respect. This has yet to be tested in the market place, but I'm confident it will sell one or two copies, as there's always someone out there with sufficiently eccentric tastes to go for my unusual bird and fish pictures.
