Another creature from the sea

IT'S odd how the creative mind feels compelled to follow themes.

Having produced Jurassic Lizard and Amphibian, I felt driven to draw Rainbow Amphibian, a more slender creature diagonally positioned on the page, with elaborate markings and a sweeping tail.

It all began with that TV programme about the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. I'm now fixated on reptiles and crustaceans - the kind of creatures which, after millions of years, reappear as fossils on the beach. Stand by for more crabs and maybe even a a squid or two.

At the moment, though, I'm working on a tortoise with a gold and black colour theme. As with the creature itself, progress is slow, but I'll get there in the end.
