Rise and Shine

IN line with my 2020 theme of technicolored optimism, I've produced a picture of my popular 'Little Men' engaged in a balloon race.

Balloons are not only colourful, they also fly onward and upward, thus encapsulating twin causes close to my heart.

With a riot of colour running through our lives along with an aspirational attitude, and a belief that everything is a ball, we can set aside worldly woes to embrace the simple joys of being alive.

Hence, my painting Balloon Race, dashed out for my precious grandkids.

I hope onward and upward will be the enduring theme of their lives, too.
