The colourful world of books
AS I've noted before, inspiration for art comes from unlikely quarters.
The other day I was pondering two of my abiding passions - colour and books.
I immediately thought of a library, and the colourful possibilities of a thousand book spines.
Within seconds, I had drawn the outlines of two or three browsers, and in less than an hour I had the makings of this picture.
It's called The Library - nothing fancy, just The Library. It's now gracing a golden frame I bought cut-price - a ludicrous two quid - from the local ASDA store. Fine art on the cheap, I'd say.
