Attitude is everything

AS there is absolutely no point at all in worrying about coronavirus, I offer you a simple message in pictorial form.

The right spirit has brought us through national calamities before, and I am confident it will do so again.

Remember dear old Bud Flanagan when he sang during the bleakest years of World War Two: 'Who do you think you're kidding, Mr Hitler, when you say old England's done?'

In 1940, we faced near certain disaster.

Eighty years on, we're in a similar situation.

But we'll come through it by eschewing negativity in favour of the Never-Say-Die attitude that left Hitler on his knees.
