A Hare At Full Pelt

LONG-STANDING followers of this blog will recall when I went through a minimalistic phase, producing a one-line sausage dog and a bull in just fourteen pen strokes.

Well, this is one of my favourite line drawings - a running hare with just five bold strokes of a felt-tip.

What I like about this drawing, apart from its economy of line, is the energy it generates. I feel the hare is actually running, probably being chased by a predator. Easy? Try it...
