Meet the gorgeous red-head Penny Cash - made from loose change
IN an attempt to keep my grandchildren fizzing with ideas during lockdown, I've produced this portrait of a woman, using pennies and twopenny pieces.
Her coppery locks were stored in an old pot I use for keeping change in.
After first sketching her face with felt-tips, I then used pennies and twopenny pieces to give her hair and ear-rings, then added four fivepenny pieces for a necklace.
The result: this beguiling lady called Penny Cash, which is the name of the picture.
Sometimes my creativity astounds me.
